Jane Stringham

Jane Stringham is a translator and fiction writer. A winner of Lunch Ticket’s Gabo Prize for Literature in Translation (selected by Yuki Tejima), her work has appeared in World Literature Today, Arkansas International, Circumference, Plath Profiles, and elsewhere. Her translation work has been awarded fellowships from Vermont Studio Center and the Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference. She has taught writing at the University of Arizona, Salt Lake Community College, and in high schools across Spain—though she is most at home in the mountains. Jane holds an MFA in fiction from the Bennington Writing Seminars. She lives and works in Salt Lake City.
